Requesting a Physical Retrieval

1. Log into your File Republic - Storage website and click on the ‘Search’ button

2. Type in the relevant matter number into the search field and click ‘Go’.
3. Click onto the file cover page

4. Click the tick box below the cover page, or use the ‘Select All’ to select multiple records
5. Click ‘Retrieve’
6. Fill out the required form
a. Name of staff requesting the retrieval
b. Phone number to provide the courier
c. Address - you are not able to change the address, it defaults to File Republic system
d. Reason – brief reason for history purposes e.g. return file to client
7. Click ‘Add to Brief Case’
TIP: You can do multiple retrievals at once by repeating steps 1 through to 7 and submit them all at once.
8. Click into your ‘Brief Case’ and ‘Submit’ your order.
